Pete’s Ultimate Movers began as a small, family-run local moving service, known for treating customers’ belongings like their own. Founded in Florida, our roots trace back to a time when delivering value meant manual labor, handshake commitments, and long hours on the road. Over the past 15+ years, we’ve hauled furniture, office equipment, antiques, and just about anything that could fit inside a box truck — all with one guiding principle: be dependable, or don’t bother showing up.
As the industry evolved and our experience deepened, we began seeing a shift in where our value truly lies. The demand for long-haul transportation, logistics reliability, and freight consistency was growing fast. Many carriers focused on volume or automation, but few delivered with the trust and human connection that we built our brand on.
So we made a bold decision.
We retired the dollies and tie straps — and rebranded Pete’s Ultimate Movers into a long-haul freight company built on the same core values, now optimized for the modern supply chain.

Transitioning from a residential mover to a national OTR (Over-the-Road) carrier wasn’t overnight. It meant:
